What do I need to change my auxiliary coolant pump?
2000 A6 2.7T, 6sp, 134k miles, stock:
I have gotten my coolant leak figured out (hopefully) as the aux coolant pump. So while I am in there, I am going to get some performance intake manifold gaskets, and replace replace the coolant reservior and cap w/ o-ring.
So my questions are:
Is there any other gaskets or o-rings necessary to complete this job? I have the luxuary of having a second vehicle but would prefer to drive my A6, so I am trying to be prepared.
What is the correct sequence and torque specifications for the intake manifold bolts? I orded a service manual but I dont want to wait until late October for it to ship from Amazon to complete my repairs since its a fairly aggressive leak.
Am I missing anything else?
FYI: I was going to order all the parts from ecstuning.com since they seem to be the only audi website with all the parts I want.

funny thing. I went to the dealer for an oil change today and for a mysterious coolant leak and was told the same thing. They want $750 to do the job but if I can do it myself I'd rather. I do have the service manual so I will get the torque specs for ya in a bit. By they way, how much were the parts with shipping?
There isn't really a spec for the intake manifold bolts, they only have to be slightly tight if that makes any sense... What i do is start from the center and alternate sides in a criss cross pattern until i reach the outer bolts. Then i go back to the center bolts and do the same procedure and again and make sure they are good and tight.
If i had to give an approx spec i would say about 20NM, or about 12 ftlbs of torque, not very much.

Thanks for the help guys.
Sleeprr:
I ended up purchasing the coolant tank, cap, o-ring for the cap, aux water pump, and the performance intake manifold gaskets from ecstuning.com. My coolant tank isnt leaking but it does have stress cracks all over it, so I am replacing it while I am low on coolant during the repairs anyways.
The shipping was only $16 out of the $260 I paid total. All the prices are posted on their website. I should be receiving my shipment tomorrow. I'll let you know how they look and if their packaging was adaquate. I didnt even bother with the dealer$hip, I just read what others said that they were paying and decided to go and do it myself.

I do know what you mean when you say "slightly tight". An old guy at work taught me that "tight is tight", if that makes sense to you. But being an engineer, I really appreciate the numeric value.

I did get the newsouth power gaskets. And everything came undamaged and well packaged. www.ecstuning.com gets my approval.
Well, I had some good luck and some not so good luck. I have aftermarket diverter valves (not the diaphram type) already on the car. Score. But I did break the hose that whent to the f-hose beneath the intake manifold. Luckily it broke near the connection to the f-hose and now I will be making one that looks like the replacement one on vast's website. ($56 for a couple ounces of brass and a couple inches of rubber hose, no thank you).
I also broke the flange off of the passenger side plastic valve cover thing. But at least thats only to make the engine look pretty and not mechanical in any way.
My throttle body boot was also torn on the bottom of one of the intercooler intakes. So I order one of the silicone ones from ecstuning again.
The neat thing is after I get my TBB, I'll be ready to do the apr chip.
Looks like I am going to Oconomowoc soon.
