What to do with my 2.7 Bi Turbo
My 2000 A-6 2.7 which I absolutely love, blew a cooling hose located somewhere on the back of the engine between engine and firewall so it is leaking engine coolant.
My local mechanic who has serviced the car for the last 10 plus years says it is not worth fixing due to the age of the vehicle and the engine must come out and therefore the repair is not cost effective.
Should I donate the car to one of the charities advertising on TV, or does it have any value for sale as a parts car.
Every option on the car works, and the A/C is ice cold, and the Bose stereo system works perfect.
Mileage is high (231,000) as it has been my toy for 22 years and was driven up until 2 weeks ago.
Any opinions on how to proceed ???
Thank you
Kurt
