what makes an s-line????

i think its just Audi trying to micro niche their products even more. apparently, the brilliant people in Marketing conducted some market research and found out that there were folks who wanted an "S" badge, some of the luxurious amenities with the traditional "S" models but without the gas guzzling motor. so, in this case, "S-line" would probably be more closely related to "Soft" rather than "Sport".

Yeah, but so is the regular 2.7T. Its 15 more hp than that but it isnt the huge 4.2l with 340hp in the S6 so I think the S in the S-line cars is kinda like "slightly" more, like when people order the AMG appearence pakage on there benz but its not an AMG, on lookers just think it is. An ego thing, which happens to work out quite nicely.

Um, not sure. I think you should just chip it. I dont think the S line was that much faster than the regular car. Thats possible though, I know you can recode the 2.8 A6 to think its a 2.8 A4 and you get a quicker car.

thats why i asked cuz if u could recode a 2.8 there there has to be a way to recode a 2.7 to gain a lil more power cuz if u recode and chip wouldnt that be faster than just a chip ima try it ima look for a sline code and put it to mine
