i had an Audi Tech print out the Vehicle Data on my car using its VIN #. this Vehicle Data report shows EVERY single option the car came with, including my cars "birthday" (July 20, 1999 lol) as well as delivery date, color, trim etc etc. i am pretty sure my car has the Winter Package (or is it Cold Weather Package?). i don't think i have the Sport Package though. what options are included in each?

on a side note, he also printed out the Service/Campaign data (aka TSB?) showing my car has had all three of them performed already. he also printed out the Audi Service History (sort of like a Carfax i think) and it shows my car had its timing belt/tensioners/water pumps replaced at 29k miles AND 67k miles! woot! he said they were more than likely replaced due to water pump noise and/or leakage as opposed to actual timing belt failure. considering engine replacement is not listed in the service history or the huge pile of receipts that came with the car i'd say he's probably right.

anyway, if anyone can tell me more about the Winter and/or sport packages, i'd appreciate it. i'm mostly just curious to be honest. i wish my car came with the original window sticker i might try to contact the original Audi dealership that sold my car (in Connecticut) but i doubt they can or will. i guess it's worth a try though.

Winter/cold weather pak, heated front and rear seats, and the center pass through ski bag.
The sport pak had different seats for sure, possibly suspension, probably some other stuff to.

Don't forget... you also have high pressure headlight washers as a part of the winter package.

 

cool! i was just trying those out today. it looks like the ski bag has never been used; still folded up and in mint shape. i LOVE the heated seats

Thats on the later cars, slight increase in power, 265hp, wheels, suspension, a few body bits, interior trim.
