Default What would you do?

Here's my situation -- I've got a 2004 Audi A6 3.0 that has 210,000 miles. After some continous power steering fluid leaking and hoping it was a simple fix, I got the word that I need a new steering rack -- which will cost at least $900 (that's what my guy said). It also needs an alignment and tie rod. It seems like I'm dropping $300 here $600 there on a regular basis and put 2 new tires on it a few months ago.. So I'm thinking of pulling the plug on it. What's the best way for me to get the most money out of it? I won't be buying new car so trade-in is not an option (plus I've been unemployed for 8 months). So what would you do to get the most out of this car?? What do you think it's worth? Thanks!

Maybe $1400 for the entire car?

Parting out a car is a big pain in the ***, but that would probably give you your best return on what you have.
