Hello everyone,

I am still undecided on what color to paint my wheels. I'm useless at photoshop, so you will have to use your imagination.

I'm still in between black or graphite/gun metal color.

Your thoughts and why would be much appreciated.

Paint it red and yellow, that will make itlook a real ricer.

 

He has the ricer pattern going so far. Air filter and tint, with plans to black tail lights and paint wheels.

You own an audi! Don't stoop to the level of the kids driving honda civics who put a cool air intake and an exhaust you could buy at target on their cars, tinkt their windows and do a bunch of other showy stuff, and think they can school everyone else on the street.


IMO take your car to a shop and get powder anodized whatever paint. It will look 298375924875x better and last much longer. its like 100$ per wheel.

 

You guys are tough! His car is pretty clean and his mods are pretty popular ones even in the Audi circles.
If you paint them, an Anthracite or graphite color would probably look best. Clear coat would be better quality.
Smoked tail lights are nice but don't go too dark on a silver car... There are silver A6 with smoked tail lights, ask for pics...

 

What I have seen is that instead of buying a new honda civic for $13500, "the dudes" are buying second hand Audis for 9-10K, and then spending 3-4 k on making it look like honda civic. So, why buy Audi in first place? After all, if that is your taste, you will end up hanging around with the same ricer group in front of Jamba Juice, holding Mcdonalds burgers.

I saw a beautiful Maserate quatroporte, and I fell in love with it. Thats my next car. And no, it didn't had smoked rear taillamps.

I am pissed of on guys those who are trying to make Audi owners look like lancer/civiv/supra owners.

If you didn't notice, it's an S6, not a simple 2.8 A6.

To clarify a few misconceptions...

The filter is a drop in, I couldn't find a suitable CAI for the 4.2. Lltek was no good and so were the other ones for the 4.2. I didn't go for the K&N as overoiling has been known to cause issues with sensors.

The tint is for the summer heat where I am currently working. It gets to 130F in the summer. In my previous car, I once decided to check how hot it got. Well, it was about 180F. No wonder dogs left in cars in the summer die and their meat gets cooked...

The tinted rear lights are cosmetic. The Hella lights are popular.

My bad choice of wording with regards to paint. I think the more appropriate term was powder coated paint. Again, where I am, the 18" RS wheels, which I would much prefer aren't really an option. The shipping would cost more than the wheels. I love the look of the RS6. Missed out on an eBay RS6 front bumper from Germany

So, hopefully that clears a few things up

Oh, I missed the fact that I am considering adding the following:

1) Go faster stripes (5 hp)
2) The flames from thewheels x 4 for the Quattro ([:'(]100 hp)
3) One of those vortex things (5 hp)

That shouldget my car up to a grand total of 450hp... cool[8D]... That's so much cheaper than the PESsupercharger (if it ever comes out).

I've read some posts where others get flamed for certain questions, but I thinksome folks need to cut down on the smoking and coffee. There are some serious hypertension (blood pressure) issues going on.

BostonDriver has a sweet car. It's tinted and has Hellas too, it's even featured on the cover of the Bentley's manual (Best ricer I've seen). I wonder if he would have gotten a similar response.
