Default Wheel Spacers

Is there anyone out there using wheel spacers with 18-19 inch rims?
The wheels I purchased are 19x9 but don't clear the front claipers. I'm thinking 5mm-7mm in the front and 15mm-25mm in the rear to even it out with the wheel wall or fender. Anyone have any suggestions/ pictures/ opinionswith their A6 with wheel spacers.

Yeah, I have a 2000 2.7. I have 18X8.5 wheels with a 35mm offset. I had to get 5mm spacers to clear the front brakes. I got a kit from Eibach that is designed for our cars. It came with two spacers and ten lug bolts. I got two kits, front and back for about $150. REAL IMPORTANT!!!! Don't ever buy those cheap universal spacers. They dont fit right. The wheel will work it self lose and come off. It happened to my car. Luckily they were going slow and it just scuffed the paint off my fender.Could have been a disaster at 80mph. You will need longer lug bolts if you add spacers. They are included in the Eibach kit. You can check them out at Eibach.com. Good Luck Man.

spacers are cool but it extends the wheels out which you probably know and the only problem with that is when the rear seats are filled with people and the weight depresses on to the wheel/tyre which im sure you know that as well then you obviously know the consequences of tyres rubbing on the wheel arches?

Thanks for the pics guys, now I know what wheel spacer size to get. SilverGT, is your car lowered? I like the way the car sits, wow 19x9.5 and no rubbing? I'll probably do the 7mm in the rear and 5mm in the fronts
Thanks again for the visuals!!!
