Default Wheels for 2.7t

Do all 5 x 112 bolt pattern rims fit on the A6 2.7t? I went to discount tire.com and tried finding rims by vehicle model and only 5 or 6 rims came up for the 2.7. Then I tried just the a6 and 5 or 6 pages of rims came up. I just dont want to but a set of rims and have them not fit on my car.

The bolt pattern is the same for all A6's. The difference with the 2.7T is the clearance for the large front calipers. The early (2000, 2001) 2.7T had the very large HP2 4-pad (per wheel) calipers while most of the later (2002-2004) cars had 2-pad ATE (Girling) calipers which are also quite big. The bolt pattern may match but many rims will not clear the calipers. You should find some posts like this one https://www.audiforums.com/m_509823/tm.htmif you search the forum, which will give you some ideas for rims that will fit. I have OEM 2006 A4 S-line (RS6) rims which fit great. I also like these http://www.purems.com/products/products.php/CA=1924which will fit your car. They are from Velocity Motoring...

I got some Anteras for my VR4 from streetdreams.org, IIRC, the site shows the backspacing range when you enter a given vehicle. Its been some time, but I think it did pick up the difference required for my 4.2 vs the others.

Daroshi - I really like the looks of those rims from Purems. Thanks for the reference. I sent them a question whether they would fit my car. Has anyone out there bought these rims? Looking for feedback.

No NOT all 5x112 won't fit your car or won't look right. he's right brake clearance is critical, offset matters for brakes but looks too. You don't want your wheels way out of the fenders. Also are you lowered?...
what price range are you looking at?

a BBS CH ALWAYS looks great on our cars! I know a great looking strong replicas for 199 in 18's too.

I ordered the replica RS4 18"rims from Purems in hypersilver. There's currently a promo for $50 off (AW50). I expect them in sometime next week but I'll be out of the country and unable to get them mounted until early August. Their sales guy claims they'll fit no problem. If they don't I'll let y'all know.

I've had an ongoing problem with my Coopers and Discount Tire offered afat proration on a set of Continental Touring Contak Extremes (235/40R-18). I hate spending any money after buying two replacement tires already, but I have 19k on the set and they're only charging me $175 which feels right. So the Conti's will go on the new rims.
