SHHHH, don't say stuff like that, you'll jinx yourself!!!
They usually go out at around 100k if they are not taken care of properly, especially since audi uses regular dino oil in them from the factory.
If someone used synthetic in them since the car was new and didn't abuse it with a chip whatnot, there is no telling how long they can last.

Yeah don't make me get depressed man...[]

I am almost at 99k and the turbos haven't gone YET. But I have my suspicions that they are, such as oil in my TBB and DVs and such... [:@]

Ha ha, all turbo engines have oil in the intake lines. I took off a lower intercoolerhose on a 2.0T A3 and got about a half quart of oil down my shirt, it was nice..........

I have 101k and original turbos (knock on dashboard wood). The original owner and I always used Mobil1. My 2.7T was chipped at 79k miles, but I don't abuse it other than driving fast.

Ahbrit's answer gives me hope for making 200k on the originals! Agree - an option for "never" would have been nice.
