alright, I picked up 97 a6 avant, 118k miles timing belt, recent tune up, gaskets etc service was already done.

Couple things are not working, rear window wiper, I think motor's bad. Try to take off the panel but failed. It just wouldn't come off.

Now what I'm working on, instrument cluster, need to replace bulbs in outside temp reading, and shift indicator, and the chime/warning sound speaker.
Bulbs found at radioshack.

Lastly, the oil temp gauge is not working. Just replaced the sender too. No luck. Any ideas?


AND IF ANYBODY NEEDS THE CHIME SPEAKER, THERE'S WEBSITE SELLS THEM FOR $3+SHIPPING!!! I think online oem parts stores charge $150.

Yes, sender for the oil temp. The speaker, I found diy on audiworld.
The part that was used in diy was STAR MICRONICS saa-30a.
Now saa-30a is discontinued and they replaced with sac-30a.

That's the one I bought and will update the post once I work on my ic and see how it works.
