can anyone tell me where and why the oil has gone? i dipped it and it was dry but it was full 2 weeks ago topped it up now and its a bit sluggish (but maf needs changed anyway) also noisy.would this have damaged the engine? what makes a car burn oil? this is my 3rd audi in 3 years and although ilike them jeez they do give bother...

maf faulty
fuel gauge faulty
temp gauge faulty
boot leaks
door lights locks faulty

just a headache i think ill get rid off

 

mechanic checked said no damage the turbo used it...

 

I don't think turbo-diesels are supposed to "use oil". Check for leaks. Is there any unusual dark smoke from exhaust? As far as reliability, any 12+ year old vehicle is going to have some problems.
