99 a6 115000 i got a noise that is getting bad. sounds like a/c clutch or power steering pump. it sounds different with a/c on but still there. replaced serp belt. i took serp off and sound was gone. i spun all the stuff that serp runs. i regreased tension pulley. no dice still got the whine. sound doesn't change turning wheel left to right. i'm lost!!! help any idea's

Sounds like it may be the tensioner pulley. You should always replace it when replaceing the belt.

 

I usually store my wine in the wine celler or on thewine rack in the kitched so why are you putting yours under the hood??
