Why Audi does that to us?
I have it real bad... ! have 93k on the car and there is barley a scratch on it. I have had some real nice cars and trucks, my brother drives that funny looking suv porsche; and my friend just bought a boxter. Dont get me rong the boxter would make a nice second vehicle, I test drove two BMWbefore deciding on the Audi anda few weeks past i blew the doors of a Mercades.I realy cant find any fault with this car. I am in R.I. its about 45 degrees out . I have no heat in my bedroom but the Audi isin my heated garage.
Our family had an Audi 90 with the awesome 5 cylinder that rev'd like a 4 and was smooth and sounded likes a 6. Quick car at the time and such great quality.
I've had 2 A6's, a 1996 and now my 2004. I also owned a 1986 911 Carrera, god I miss it... gotta buy another Porsche when I can! Will I buy another Audi.... probably but only if I can find a turbocharged model I like, with less weight on the front, less overhang and manual..... gotta have the Quattro too! I love the toughness, the interior, the quattro, the turbos.... but I am tired of the extra weight and heavy nose handling.....
I am very tempted by the awesome and wicked quick 335 (now the 5 series comes with the smae engine)I have to admit and always loved the M3 even though it is atmospheric!!! M3 iss too small though...
So either I keep my A6 and got Stage 3+ next year, or if I can sell it I am getting either an 03RS6 Chipped with exhaust OR a 535 Chipped with exhaust. Love that BMW Biturbo engine and the 3 series is too small for me... If I keep my A6, I will most likely buy another old 911
GOSH it is so hard to chose.....

My first love was the porsche 930 TT.Some day I would love to have a Porsche and Audi side by side in my driveway..I travell back and forth from R.I. to maineand vermont for hockey, the extra weight makes for a smooth ride . It would be nice to have something to zip around in and would most definitaly be a Porsche.....
PS. I really did not mean that a Porsche would make a good second car. It is trulley in a class of its own!!!!!!!!!!

It is my understanding , unless I heard this rong but the 2008 q will not be avalibale in the US for one year as of last week. they gave all the detailes on the car but wont release the PRICE......
I have a 2000 2.7. It's had probably $12,000 in repairs in the last year and a half. I like the car, but I will never buy another Audi. I'm glad you all like yours and you had a much better experience than I did. Good Luck.
Was it previously owned by another guy? I bought mine brand new, and so far there is no problem. Knock wood! If it was previously owned, may be the driver was not the best. Sometimes, I feel thatevery car is different than other one. Evenif they both were madethe same day in the same plant. I had a Land Rover Disco, and my friend had the same model. In 60K miles my clutch, alt, diffren, and suspension was done, and henever had any problem even after 93K. I consider myself to be good driver and never had any problems with my previous cars ...like the kind I had with Disco.
Will I buy Audi again? Yes. Land Rover? Maybe, in another few years from a junkyard and will spend six months restoring it. I still think LRs are the best for DIY projects.

I am not at all happy with the amount of money that has to be spent on these cars, as we speak my car is apart in the garage again, I never had a problem with this car until my 17 year old son drove it . I have had either a brand new car or dearler car with low miles seince 1996. The used Audi with 93k is a new experince , I have to say though the driving pleasure and overall looks of this car makes it easy to want to spend the extra money on.....
Audi has had me for years. From my dad's Audi 80 in Prague and then to the 100 I drove to 280K+ and sold and the the 200TQ that I drove to 245K+ and sold and now the 2.7T 6MT approacing 100K. The Rover is good to tug boats and go 4 wheelin and the old Jag sits pretty with its black hole called Lucas, I can always count on the Audi. I am sold.

, with a Q7... But then again, she doesn't take care of her cars...
