I'm having a hard time finding wheels that will fit my 2000 A6 2.7t... I'm assuming because of the large caliper. Anyway... I was wondering if anyone knew if these would fit.

Mille Niglia VR - The wheels are 18"x8" Offset 45 (All Four), with 5x112 bolt pattern. And the plan was to put 245/45/18's on.

I have a 2000 A6 2.7T. I went with a 18X8.5, 35mm offset, and 5X115 bolt pattern. I had to use a 35 mm spacer to clear the front brakes. Don't use a generic spacer. Wheel will come off. I used a 35mm spacer by Eibach that was made specifically for our cars. They were $72 a set and came with extra long lug bolts. I can send you a pic of my car if you want to see what they look like. Doesn't your 2000 2.7 have a 5x100 bolt pattern? If so, how did you mount those rims (with a 5x115 mounting pattern) onto your car?

Sorry, I screwed up. It does have the 5x112 pattern, not a 5X115. I had to get longer bolts and I had to keep tightening them every few days for about the first 1000 miles after I put the new wheels on. After that, they were good. Good Luck.

 

Isn't a 45 offset too much the best i think is 35
