Windshield installer recommendations: New Jersey
Good Afternoon, all:
Ah yes, the joys of the winter. The snow everywhere. The *** freezing cold. And the delightful sound of a cracking windshield.
Driving home yesterday I went though a recently-sanded and salted patch of road in traffic. Freshly pothole-repaired too. The car in front of me must have kicked up some of that pothole-repair asphalt, for I heard "thwock!" against my windsheld and a gorgeous 14" crack appeared! Oh how I love the winter!
So....does anyone have any experience with a windshield-replacement place here in Northern New Jersey? I know there are lots of places, but I'd like to know who doesn't suck. Yes, there's the dealership, but I have no intention of taking it there. I like the independants
Any/all info welcome!
Thanks!

I too have the same problem on my 2004 A6 Avant. I am in Northwest NJ near Newton Motor Sports and Diamond AutoGlass (Rt 206). My inspection comes up in May so I am trying to hold off until then. I have a 100 dollar deductible and I want to make sure the glass is just a thick as the oem. Let me know what you decide
