My windshield wipers on my 2001 A6 2.7T will not turn off no matter what position the switch is in. I have had to remove the fuse to keep them off. Any suggestions? Could it be a relay problem. Can it be repaired without taking it to the dealer? The car has 91K miles on it. Thanks.

 

sounds like the stalk wiring is shorted keeping it on permanent live so it could be the stalk or the wiper motor connections
