I have moved to a state that requires front plate. I ordered a new plate holder ($250) and wonder if I can put it on or should dealer. I have not seen it yet so don't know how complicated it is. Damn California.

 

$250 is steep.

I may know a guy who makes $79 front plate mounts for Audi's with a forever warranty.

Though, they're offset (Some people see that as a con, others do not).


Typically the expensive ones from the dealer require drilling, and you might want to let them do that, if you're opposed to drilling your car, I'd checkout a no drill alternative. (Like ours, or others).
