Headlight set to Auto on A7

Headlight set to Auto on A7
Does anyone know if the auto settings on the headlight switch will yield an indicator (green double light) on the dash in the second dial ring?
i could have sworn i saw one, thats is the only way to know the headlights are on and not the DRLs.
let me know i think i am going crazy.
