Default Nav guidance volume/gadet trouble - new to forum

Well just picked up my very first Audi, a 2014 A7. Love the car so far, but a few of the electronic gadgets have me stumped.....something that is unusual for me, since I LOVE electronic gadgets.

In the settings I was able to adjust the volume of the voice activation system, but when I use the route guidance on the nav system the voice is too soft, and for the life of me I can't find anyplace to turn it up. It does not seem to be effected by the voice activation volume setting. I am sure it MUST be there somewhere. Can anyone help me?

Also, apparently the Audi MMI has this strange feature where no matter what I have on the screen, if I turn off the entertainment system the screen retracts, and then I have to deploy it again to use it. I can mute the system, but if I do that and then stop and start the car the entertainment system comes on again at a low volume rather than fully muted how I left it. How do most people get around this problem?

Thanks. Glad I discovered this forum, lots of info here.

Jeff

Hi Jeff,
did you find out how to increase the Sat Nav volume in the end?
In mine you wait for the sat nav to speak and increase it during.
hope that helps!
