Just purchased an 05 A8 with the motorola v60 phone kit. Amazed to find such an antiquated phone in such a high end vehicle. Does anyone have experience of upgrading the kit to fit a more modern phone, say, the Motorola Razor? I called the dealership and they state there are no retro-fits available from Audi.

I'm trying to understand incorporating a phone into the MMI too. I think a cradle is now available from Audi that will do just that, and allow a Bluetooth Treo to have full functionality as the link above shows for the 06's. Complicated stuff but to add to that, they're (Palm) about to release a 700 Treo next week which will use a windows O/S as opposed to the Palm O/S.

I don't know if a Bluetooth V3 (Razr) will fit into the cradle mentioned above. I called an Audi dealer today but they couldn't answer the question.
