Default 05 audi a8

Drove a audi a8 the other day at work, i must say, it is the cloest thing to a maybach as u will get for the price. On the odimeter it had 50 miles on it. The car was so comfortable and it had everything u need to live in it pretty much. Only thing i didnt like it the grill on the ouside. but besides that, i loved it

If you ever get the chance drive the W12 when we had the presentation day for that car at my work when it first came out I was lucky enough to drive that and omg what a beast so much power all the time but that I would say is very close to the maybach

I disagree. The grille of the V8 is much much better looking than the W12. Maybe it was a W12 you drove. As far as the A8 4.2.... all I can say is, yes this is the most amazing car I have ever seen... on the inside. The MMI system is unparalleled. Just really nice to use as compared to the BMW and Mercedes versions. And the A8 is very fun to drive.... though I'm sure the W12 is even better!

A little story.... As I was picking up my S4 from service I was in the showroom and this older gentleman was looking at the W12 and the sales person was telling him about the car, so he looks around and sees everything and he goes "its too much", this guy was not saying too much as in the price... he was saying the car has too much as in luxury wise. I just looked at him because i was like WTF its a W12!!! buy it lol. I can't believe he didn't buy it because it had too much.

Funny thing about this story is that its not uncommon. I've been in technical sales for over 10 years and you hear this alot. The first thing you should know in sales is to 'know your audience'. Obviously this sales guy sucked or he would've know that an old guy like this just wants a car that makes him feel comfortable and drives well, and doesn't care about the 59-way adjustable seat or 16 memory functions.

This is a case of poor salesmanship and probably a good reason why these cars don't sell better than they do (which ironically is great for us 2nd and 3rd owners who can't afford a new one!)
