where is this darn thing!!!!!!! searched all over please help

 

If 2000 is same as 2004 than It's in the engine compartment in rectangles shape box. If u looking at engine its in back (firewall) four plastic screw holding box down. Hope that give u general direction.

Sorry thought you meant charcoal filter. If you are talking about Evap CAnister it is in trunk under the spare for 04 a8. Your migth be the same location.

 

In the 00 a6 the cc is located near the gas tank. Close to the spare tire lump.
