Default 2006 A8 blue tooth question

I just bought an 06 A8 with 21,000 miles on it. So far I love the car but can not seem to get my phone to sync. I have a Motorola Razor. Do I need to get a cradle for it? Any places to buy one other than an Audi dealer?

You need to check to see if you phone is compatible with the A8's bluetooth, not every phone is compatible. The dealer can print you out a listof phones, or you can find the list yourself on audiworld i believe.

The phone is on the list on Audiworld.

Is it possible to sync the phone without having a cradle?

No cradle is needed. There may be a problem either with the phone or the A8's blue tooth system. Have the fault codes checked in the A8's telematics system.

I have a 06 A8 and you have to put in the code: 1234 as the PIN in your phone in order to synch with Audi bluetooth. I used to have a motorola SLVR so it should work.
