I have to replace the Navigation DVD Reader which is broken in my car, can I just buy the exact same one model # wise online without having to program and code it to the vehicle. Or will it be better to send it to someone to fix it since it's already programmed to my car.

I heard when replacing any modules or items that are connected to the computer they need to be reprogrammed or coded for the computer to recognize it.

Or is it possible to buy the same exact model and just swap it out with no programming?

Navigation DVD doesn't need to be program. No CP

I picked up one with the same serial number and one that is as similar as the old one. Plugged it in and it works perfectly fine. I should have posted before but it slipped my mind since nobody replied until now.
