Hello gents.

I am a current A4 owner, but recently found a 2008 A8 w/Sport and Premium Packages that looks pretty interesting.

36,500 Miles, private party sale, asking $34,000

All records included and all scheduled maintenance has been done on time.

I'm wondering if anyone here can comment about the expected reliability of this vehicle as it ages.

What are the big "gotchas" out there that I should be aware of. Trying to get this knowledge now, before I make any decisions.

Oh, and does anyone know if that price is fair??

I cannot speak to the car itself as my first A8 is a 2012, but the price doesn't sound bad.
