which do you prefer the Audi A8 6.0 W12 Quattro or the Audi S8 5.2 V10.

I prefer the S8, a lightspeed limo like the S65 AMG, thats a point or do you prefer the Merc?

S8 and the W12 A8 have essentially the same performance characteristics, so how can the short-wheelbase S8 be more of a limo than the long-wheelbase W12?

When did the S65 enter the picture? I thought this server-filler thread was about the S8 vs A8 W12?

 

Both cars are badass, But your comparing apples to applesuace buddy!
W-12 is premo luxury and the "L" means just that baby!
The S8 is a burner with a V-10 motor that fits into a Lamboghini, The modifications for this are endless and will not doubt keep up with the best of them.
It just depends on what you want, I bought the A8L for many reasons and then de-badged so people would think it's just another Audi.
I love the stealth of my vehicle and don't care what others think, Never have and never will.
And both will cost over $100,000 so good luck on your decision, Either way there both Sweeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!1

I will put it this way.... Ladies love long bases. Seriously the W12 is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET I saw one this morning and was blown away. The car has so many features that it is ridiculous. It has vibrating seats for goodness sake!!!!

The seats in mine vibrate too, at around 110 mph, depending on pavement quality

 

The S8 (mine come in October) is a great car for $100K. The S65 is on another level, and you will pay for it. If cash isn't a barrier, go for the S65. I for one wanted a car that no one has (I live on Long Island...S55/65's are everywhere) and that felt like a sports car, not a sedan.
