Hi I'm wondering if anybody knows for sure whether you can modify an Audi A8 that is prior to 2006 with the newer front grill? Basically changing the grill on this TO

 

I don't think it'd work. The front hood-line is slightly different. Same might be true for the leading edge of the fenders. IDK if it IS different, you may have to find one to park next to, to compare the lines. of course, even IF the lines are the same, the attachment points may not line up corrctly.

 

so, the front fenderlines apparently do match, but the hood doesn't. meh... if you want the look, go for it! post us up some before and after pics, willya?

 

The headlight profile and hood profile is different. Other than those parts it would bolt right on, you can make anything fit if you wanted to.

You want to change the main reason some people choose the 05 over the newer ones :O! anyways lol I don't think the look would warrant the price. Save the cash and invest it in your next vehicle purchase.

 

I have an 05 myself but would kill for that new grill on the 06 and above....

 

That grill just makes it look to much like an a6 for my taste. I want it to be known I drive the A8!
