As much as we would like to be able to sell the item to you, due to very high FedEx/UPS freight costs, we are unable to provide you with this part for a competitive price that you can likely obtain from your dealership. Here's the only aftermarket company that makes a kit for the conversion, it's called Hofele and it is made in Germany. You can choose any grille you want.

Bottom Line: The conversion can be done for 04's and 05's and there are only two options:

Option 1: Factory Upgrade - New Hood, Headlights, Center Grill, Front Bumper Cover, Left/Right Lower Grill, Paint & Labor.Cost: $5000 - $6,000

Option 2: Aftermarket Upgrade (Hofele) - Front Bumper, Center Grill, Shipping, Paint & Labor.
Cost: $3,500 (Approx.)

 

Hi guys , I know im a bit late in this post, but still no one has hade the job done !
now the conversion is to a 2008 model.
facelift and rear tail lights.

in saudia arabia (where I am at)
it costs about 6500 $
this is without the cost of painting and hand labor.any body have any new ideas?

does any one know if the 2005 a8 w12 fits the 2005 a8l the 2005 w12 started the big grille look is their any difference in the head lights and hood

 

what about the 2005 audi a8 w12 front end it should be closer to fit that year started the big grille look

It was a really easy upgrade for the 2005 to 2008 front conversion
Just needed Front bumper, fog grills, fog lights, fog plugs and a new grill and number plate holder. Cost £1200 in parts...and £300 in labour.....

I have the part number somewhere for the 08 conversion if anybody wants them

 

im sorry but do you really think that when you buy headlights for ebay for $250 they gonna be any good?
