do a search for a8 drain plug. or, scroll down through the threads. I know it's been posted up about a hundred times, every owner of a D2 on here has asked, at least once. and, yes, they get clogged up with leaves, and stuff, and you end up with wet-shoes, eventually.

Well, at least it's a simple procedure, AND easy to reach, huh?

Its not as hard as it looks, the A8 comes apart pretty easilly, its much better designed than the A6 or A4.

easy totake apart, but who is gonna get it back in one piece?

ok, I understand regarding small drain spots , but how can i get that central drain before i remove trannsmision down?

I am not going to start on that a/c drain system, with orange pipes....after that, my A8 will be turned into drag car..

Well i doubt its the A/C evaporator drain lines, for them to leak you would have to have the A/C on, unless you're running the defroster. Try leaving the defrost off and see if it still leaks, if there is still a leak then its probably the drain in the engine bay.
