Hey everyone, I'm relatively new to this site, but I noticed ALOT of posts with people who are trigger shy about buying an A8. I was in the same boat and constantly scanned internet sites and other posts before finally buying mine last month. I haven't driven it enough to know if I got the good deal I think I did, but because of a site listed below, I can sleep soundly at night knowing the car won't develop any unforseen demons (electrically or mechanically). I don't believe this site is affiliated with the link below, but perhaps they should be. The checklist they have posted is EXCELLENT and I HIGHLY recommend anyone purchasing a used A8 print out the .pdf doc and drop $100 at a mechanics shop to run through the checklist before purchasing the automobile.

For those of you who have already bought one, you may still want to have a mechanic go through the checklist to make sure your investment is sound.
