Hi folks,
Ive just picked up a '96 - '97 A8 Quattro (not literally, good lord thats waaaaay too heavy) and i would like to know if i can put the sport steering wheel from my old '96 A6 Quattro 2.8 in place of the boring looking wheel fitted at the mo.

By the way, both the A6 and A8 are uk registered if that makes any difference.

The A6 wheel i want to fit is the same as the one in the picture at the top left hand sideof this sites page, the type with the chrome four rings logo and the little red and chrome badge mounted in the leather at 6 o'clock.

Niether steering wheel has any buttons on the centre boss foraudio controlsetc but both contain the airbag.
I know the A6 wheel does have the airbag in it and all intact.


Please help me to make a thing of beauty even more beautiful.... it would be such a good improvement on the interior look of the car and it also will let the proud memory of my old and sadly departed A6 live on......
