Maximum rim size on 06 A8?

RE: Maximum rim size on 06 A8?
Absolute max, or max practical?
Absoulte max'd prolly be 21's or 22's, but your ability to live with that on a daily driver'd be restricted to where you drive and how the roads are where you roll.
Personally, for a daily-use vehicle, IDT anything bifgger than 19's would be livable.
If you're talking all show and no go, hell, squeeze some 24's on there and paint the outer-edges black to simulate rubber

^Awd thanks for your response. It wont be used as a daily driver but when I drive it will be mostly on city streets and highways. So your thinking 19"s are the max without creating problems? What problems would occur as a result of riding on 22"s? Alignment or some problems with the axle?

Pm sent.
In general, yea, things along those lines. Maybe not so much alignment as things that support proper alignment. Wheel-bearings, axle/hub assemblys, bushings..., but I doubt you'd begin to see/hear/notice it right away. The effects would be cumulative, and gradual, at first, anyway.
