Hola list members - turned in my '03 540 6speed this week at the end of its lease and am now driving an A8, ming blue, with 43K miles. It belonged to a family member who has gone to his reward and it wasn't being used. Garaged and well kept, but it has issues. I have been on rennlist for years with my old Porsche, and I wanted to solicit opinions about likely problems with this car. I'd like to find the Bentley manual for this car, but it seems to exist only in CD or DVD format, which seems dopey to me. I don't want to drag a computer in my garage and navigate a CD with dirty hands or gloves. Is Bentley the manual of choice or can factory books be had inexpensively? Also, among Porsche enthusiasts, there are well known and regarded parts suppliers who specialize in that marque. In my searching so far, I don't find Audi specialists. Any recommendations for replacement and performance upgrade parts?
