Default S8 2WD is it possible?
Hi can any of you guys tell me if an S8 quattro! transaxle from '97 is strong enough for only 2WD use, so just powering the front halfshafts. And what about the driveshaft flangle at the rear of the transaxle? Let it spin free in the air, or do I have to weld te center differential loceated in the rear of the transaxle solid?

I can't help but wonder why? And wouldn't it create all sorts of nightmares with traction control?

Why not work with a 2.7t with a CVT front wheel drive?
