Hey Dubai, is the noise related to engine speed? In other words, when you rev, does the noise get faster? Is it related to road speed? Like, regardless of how fast you rev the engine, the noise only gets faster if the car goes faster...

One thing you can do, to try to narrow down where the noise IS coming FROM is to take a rolled-tube, like from a roll of paper towels, or some wrapping paper, for instance, and stick your ear up to one end, and point the other end at various places around your engine compartment and/or engine, until you've pinpointed where the noise seems to eminate from. That may help us narrow down the potential causes.

Sorry no one responded earlier. This is one of the lesser-visited areas. Not a lot of us BIGTYME cruisers, it would seem.

Hey AWDaholic ,

Thanks alot for replying, well yes it is related to the engine speed, especially when idle you can here the noise and while pressing on gas while the car is in Neutral you can here the sound gets louder & louder ...

This happens when both reversing and in normal mode, the sound is always there ..

& Thanks alot for replying

My regards

Sounds like you have carbon build up on the intake valves.

Dear auditech79,

I have checked the intake valves and nothing is wrong with them !!

They told me I would have a different noise if carbon is added in to the intake valves ..

My sound is like a (CLICKING NOISE) ...

Check your oil pressure, maybe its the camshaft adjusters starvingfor oil.
Other than that i would have to hear the noise to make a good diagnosis.
