Why no A8's for sale in classifieds?
I have an idea...
I live in the 10th largest city in Canada - a city that is very affluent. The local Audi dealer only sells about 2-5 A8's per year! Most are on lease and are returned and sold at Auction (where I got mine). People are scared of the cost to fix them and are turned off by the fact the warranty has most likely expired. I personally don't care!!
Just my thoughts.

The A8 is an extremely expensive vehicle. There isn't many bought in the first place because it is so very expensive. When it is sold it is sold used from a lease and usually snapped up quick or has tons of problems with them. (not the car's fault) Usually being in a few accidents or having more than 2 owners (never good), or being in poor condition, smokey, not taken care of etc. This is why there is such a short supply, and your in Canada no mans land
