Default Yokohama ADVAN S.4. tires?

Hello all! New A8L owner here. My car came with summer performance tires and I am planning a trip up north soon and expect to run into snow and ice. Has anyone had any experience with the Yokohama ADVAN S.4. tires? I have the 19" factory rims and am not looking at purchasing a second set of tires and rims, only getting a great set of all-season high performance tires to run year round. Any experience with these tires or maybe a recommendation on another set of high performance All-season tires? Many Thanks!

Thanks BadLuckAudi

What does everyone else run, on the 19" in factory rim, in an All-season performance tire? And do you get decent wear out of them, more then 12-15k miles :-)

Thanks again

I was gonna tell about how much I LUV, LUV, LUV my Falken ZE-512's; their UHPAS tire, but, after checking their website, I see that the ZE's only go up to 18" sizes. Sorry. If you ever decide to go -2 (minus two) on your wheel size, for winter gummi, I *DO* recommend the ZE-512, but only if you expect to actually be driving in wet, and snow, and wind and stuff. For dry pavement there are much better tires. For A/S, $ for $, there isn't anything better on teh road, IMHO. I've PERSONALLY driven the Falken A/S tires up to and above 150mph, in teh rain, and speds in the 75-80mph in loose, wet snow, with both complete confidence AND better than average feel for what teh tires were doing, in either case. Of course, this was in Europe, where such speeds, while not common in adverse weather conditions, certainly aren't unheard of. But, like I said, they don't come in 19" sizes.
