Power steering pump leak?

Power steering pump leak?
Is it possible for the power steering pump itself to leak on a Q7? Seems like I have to feed it power steering fluid every couple weeks or it starts whining again. There are no puddles or obvious leaks, but bottom side of the pump has some greasy goo on it and feels slick to the touch like oil would. No other obvious signs to a nub like me.
