2011 Q5 Tail lights

2011 Q5 Tail lights
Hi - I just picked up a 2011 Q5 (my first Audi!) about a month ago and my driver's tail light is completely full of water. Half of it is now burned out and I'm guessing that I will need a new one, but I'm wondering if i will have the same issue. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks!
