My 2024 Q5 came with the radio built in (inside the dash I assume) but without a CD player. But there seems to be a spot for one in the back of the glove box.

My 2017 A4 has one in that spot. It has a CD/DVD slot plus slots to use for memory cards to either play, or to add the music into the A4’s jukebox.

I was going to ask my dealer whether they have something similar that they can install into my Q5.

But thought I’d ask here for any other ideas or recommendations?

2nd Q: can I buy something and install it myself? I mean, is the wiring to connect one into the amp & speaker system already installed?
