Hi,

I have a 2011 Q5 that I've had for about 6 weeks. Three times now, the Driver Information Screen has gone white/blank right after starting the engine. I've tried turning off the engine and then restarting and also exiting the car and locking it and then getting back in and restarting it immediately. DIS is still white. All three times were in the morning when I was taking my daughter to school and the DIS came back after I dropped her off and walked her inside the school (about 10 minutes). The Q5 is parked in a garage and it's not that cold here so I doubt it's temperature related.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I also have this problem. Did you get it resolved? what was it?

 

The dealership reproduced the problem and had to replace the Driver Information Screen which takes several hours. An electrical problem in the Driver Information Screen was causing the problem. Covered under warranty

 

what did they actually do? replace anything?
