Default How did you pick the Audi over other luxury SUVs?

I currently own a 2014 Range Rover Sport Autobiography V8 and I noticed the Audi on Consumer Reports as highest rated. I test drove one today and also checked out a Tesla.

How and why did you pick the Audi?

I was in the market for a new car, and really like the crossover segment since it rides higher than a sedan but not as massive as an SUV (and usually better on gas). I researched several online and ended up putting the Audi Q5 as first on my short list. I test drove one (2017 model) and the car fit me perfectly and I loved the way it drove, so I bought it.

I liked my A4, had two of them, but needed more clearance for off pavement trips but not too big for my single car garage. Got the air suspension 2018 Q5. Having had two Audi’s the MMI and steering wheel switches werent too intimidating but its gotten ridiculous how many settings and doodads are in these things. Theres no way for a brand new Audi owner to figure it out withouts lots of practice. And some of the most obvious info is so buried in the manual I defy anyone to find it. My car alarm went off in a bumpy ferry, not uncommon for anyone near water, and it took me a google search to find the remedy. Good thing the ferry had wifi. It was not listed in the *&^%$# manual! (A door switch on the bottom inside of the hidden part of the drivers door can set the switch to off, but not as a default setting, each trip it has to be reset)
