I ordered my Q5 last december. Can't wait until I get it! Dealer said there will be lead time of 4-5 months and then it'll take several weeks to receive the car. So I'd expect to receive the car on April / May.

Is there any way I can know that my car is coming in time and there are no extra delays? The dealer said already that once they've made an order, they have no visibility to Audi factory. I'd love to hear that there are no delays in factory.

Another question on my mind is that is there any way to avoid anyone driving the car before I get it? I believe it's important time to be gentle to the car for the first months, and I wouldn't like to have some heavy-pedal-redneck driving it between factory and harbour and then from harbour to another state to the dealer with 2000 driven miles in meter once I receive it.
