Oil Consumption
The answer is yes. It was supposed to be corrected after the class action suit. I have a 2016 Q5 that was pretty good up to this summer when in May / June I started having to put oil in it. It has since gotten much worst and now I'm at a quart just under every thousand miles. The car is still under warranty but Audi claims it is normal spec and refuses to change the pistons and rings.
Nov 29th 2020 - After further discussions with Audi USA they approved the repair of my 2016 under warranty. Much appreciated.

Thos, what year is your Q5? The 2.0Ts had known oil consumption problems apprx 2009-2012, being fixed in 2012. My A4 is going through a quart every 350-500 miles depending upon how many short trips I take (it seems to blowby more oil when cold starting). I was under the impression this issue was resolved 2013-on.
