Running boards?
Going to dealership tomorrow to negotiate deal on 2012 Q5. I'm thinking about getting running boards since I have a younger one. It seems OE parts are pretty expensive, may get a pair of aftermarket. Has anyone got running boards installed on the Q5? Do you think they are worth it?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Have had running boards in the past and unless the car is taller (like my 'other car' Ford Excursion) they actually get in the way...
you will bump them, get your clothes dirty from them and in the case of the Q5, the door height (at least for me) is too low as it is without stepping up to get in....
and to the Mrs's, it messes with the lines of her car !!!
but that's just my humble opinion and experience
