I have a 2011 Q5. Does the dual climate control apply to the fan speed? That is to say, all other climate control functions work separately for driver and passenger, but any change in the fan by either side changes the other side. Even if synchronization is off. I have found internet info that says they operate separately, and others that say they don't, even if all other climate controls do. Dealer says they don't. I thought that they did when I first got the car. I'd appreciate feedback.

Dunno about the 2011 but I was surprised that the 2014 does not. Maybe the "base" climate control system does not split the fan, but there is/was some package upgrade that does?
