2008 Q7 tail light bulb replacement

Default 2008 Q7 tail light bulb replacement
My Q7 tail light bulb has burnt out. I have managed to remove the cover but can't remove the bulb. Does it pull out or twist? Neither seems to work unless I'm not trying hard enough for fear of breaking the bulb.

no screws but to try hard to pull outwards.

Thanks! I was able to remove the inside bulb by pushing in then twisting. Small glitch though, there are two bulbs and only one is accessible from the inside panel.
