Default Air conditioning

My 2010 Q7 has less than stellar air conditioning -- even when set to lo and maximum fan, the air doesn't get cold enough -- any ideas? Am I missing something?

I have a 2007 also and had the same issue. We have the panorama sunroof and although I'm in Ohio, when it's sunny (which is seldom) it does make it hard to cool when over 85 outside.

When I did some research I found there was an open TSB about the coolant having been over filled. (I'll try and get the link later and post). What happens when it's over full it still shows the correct pressure, but isn't able to cool effectively (this is my novice take on what happens). I took mine in, they replaced a connector and drained and refilled it. Now it's much, much better.

Default air con

hi my friend thanks for your reply ,but im afraid my problem is alot more serious COMPRESSOR !!yes the air compressor is fubar! i had this checked out from a engineer and he gave me the bad news ,my warranty ran out in march so i am f...ed!! but any way look on the bright side lets hope its a long winter lol.i have had a look on e bay for a compressor and hope fully i can pick one up for about 300 to 400 pounds and the engineer could fit it and get it working for me ,compared to the audi price of over 1200 pounds ,although i am seeing audi this week because as i am told the compressor should not go in 3 years so quickly so ill wait and see hwat happens
thanks atty
