Default Buying a new Q 7 2017 and/or 2018

I plan on buying a new Q 7 in 17 or 18. This is about the only thing on my bucket list. What I want to know is, can you bargain the price on these kind of cars like BMW's and Mercedes or the retail price is what you pay. If I lease what should one strive for?

Just bought a 2017 Q7. Got 2.9% off MSRP. And that was a pain to get.

I bought a 2017 Q7 in late November. I was very specific on the color and options I wanted. No dealers had the specific combination I wanted and said the Prestige model has been selling off dealer lots very quickly. I really wanted to avoid ordering one from scratch which would take months. I searched online dealer inventories for a few weeks all over the eastern U.S., finally found a Prestige I liked which was in transit to my local dealer and was scheduled to arrive in a few days(!) I contacted the dealer and asked if the vehicle was already sold, and surprisingly it wasn't. They gave me a good trade-in on my previous vehicle and they gave me 2.74% financing for 66 months. They didn't discount the sticker price and I didn't push it even though I probably should have.
I would expect if you're willing to buy a vehicle which is on the dealer's lot near the end of a month or calendar quarter, and you're not picky on color or options you will have much more negotiating leverage.

When you negotiating colors or other features, it is always more complicated and you increase the price too.. This applies to every car purchase.. I am fine with every color, I do not mind If my car will be white or blue.. I just want to ride it!!

Shopped around to 6 dealers within 3 hour radius for pricing on custom order (3.0 Prestige, everything but B&O and Luxury). 3 no responses, 2 offered 3%, and 1 offered 6%. Took some negotiating, but happy with the process. Best of luck.

Default Was able to negotiate upto 3%

Bought a 2017 2.0L Q7. Dealers are not willing to negotiate much. Shopped around with 4 dealers only 2 were even willing to negotiate. Got 3% off MSRP for a Premium Plus with DA and Vision packages.

Every dealer says they have a huge demand for Q7

I agree with you DSR Leasing offers great deals for each and every car because I recently bought my Audi car from them.
