Please tell me how often yourRED Oil Pressure warning light has come on and whether you had it fixed for good or not.

Looking for Q7 3.6 models, but I guess all can participate.

 

We have had the same problems with our oil warning light. Ours is the early production run 2007 3.6. We still get the loud 1980's GM diesel sound at start up. We have had loss off power and they tell me it is unrelated. I get a new story with every Audi affiliate (mechanics, service writers, customer service, etc.) I talk with. I have asked them to replace my vehicle with one that does not have problems so I can see what the good Audi experience is supposed to be like. Of course they have declined. I still think I have a good case with the lemon law because it is documented for the same problem 3 times. If I would have known the issues would never get resolved I would have documented all the phone calls regarding these same issues to the dealer.

 

Mine came on several times over the the time of a few months. The dealer did a bulletin procedure, but later the camshaft seized while driving and they installed a new longblock under warranty.
